non-ferrous metal

we accept these metals

Non-ferrous scrap metal includes:

  • Aluminium – including foil and cans
  • Copper
  • Lead
  • Zinc
  • Nickel
  • Titanium
  • Cobalt
  • Chromium
  • Other precious metals.

Non-ferrous metals are not magnetic and, while less common than ferrous scrap, they tend to be of greater financial value. Each year, millions of tonnes of non-ferrous scrap metal are recovered by processors and used by secondary smelters, refiners, ingot makers, fabricators, foundries, and other industries, making them an essential resource in manufacturing.

ferrous metal

we accept these metals

Ferrous scrap metal is scrap iron and steel.

This includes scrap from:

  • Old cars
  • Household appliances
  • Steel beams
  • Railroad tracks
  • Ships
  • Food packaging and other metal containers.

You can easily tell if a metal is ferrous by checking if it’s magnetic, as ferrous metals are attracted to magnets.
